Faith and Spirituality

I'm aware that for some people faith and spirituality are really important to them and if that is the case for you then we can agree to integrate them into our work together.

For others this isn't something that is important for you and I will work in a way that is respectful and sensitive to this.

This may be an area of pain and distress for you or someone you care about. I have experience of working with people for which this has been their experience. I have completed additional training and CPD with respect to spiritual abuse and trauma. I am very aware of the pain that religious institutions can cause and it is an area that I continue to keep up to date in.

Change and transitions can occur with respect to one's faith and beliefs and I have experience of navigating people during such times. So if that's an area that you'd like support in please let me know.

I'm aware that language with respect to faith, belief, religion and spirituality can be difficult and some of these words fit better for some people than others. For brevity I haven't used all the words above but please insert the word or words that fit for you and rest assured that if we work together I will be guided by the words and meaning of these that fit for you.
